Hop Wallop
(Cask Conditioned)
Pure gold of color, this ale offers its heady bounty of hops to the adventurous of taste. Bold, bracing and surprisingly refreshing for a strong (8.5% a.b.v.) ale, Hop Wallop lives up to its name and legacy. |
 |
St Boisterous Hellerbock
A full-bodied lager beer of exuberant and robust character. It’s muscle-man body comes from decocted German malts and noble German hops. Lagered long and cold to refine its strong temperament, St. Boisterous emerges smooth and seductive, with a malty sweet charm. This classic rendition of the German ‘maibock' style will warm your heart. |
 |
Whirlwind Witbier
A swirling dynamo of flavor, with a steady calm of satisfaction at its heart, that's Whirlwind Witbier. Offering a tamed tempest of flavors both spicy and sublime, this softly fermented ale greets the nose and tingles the tongue. Imported Belgian yeast charges Whirlwind with an energy all its own. It is a refreshing interpretation of the classic, Belgian 'white beer' style. |
Sunset Dunkleweizen
Before the Moonglow Weizenbock there must be a Sunset Dunkelweizen. Imported German malts, hops and a unique yeast strain combine to make a beer of distinctive character. Flavors of bananas and cloves are complimented by a slight nuttiness in this Bavarian classic. |
Kölsch
light bodied, pale/straw colored, session beer. Floral hops, hay,
light bready maltiness, little bit fruity, grassy, nice dryness.. About 4.6% abv. Hope that helps! I don't have any formal sell sheets for it. |
Spaltz
The single varietal hop used in the beer is called Spalt Select.
In this case, it is grown in Hallertau region of Germany. It has roughly
40 IBUs. Starting Gravity: 12 Plato; 5.3% ABV; unlike most of our Braumeisters, this one is filtered. |

May 22 @ 5:30 pm

In 1996, we created Harvest Ale, America's first fresh hop ale. Fresh hops are richer in natural hop resins producing unmatched aromatics and layers of spicy-sweet notes that hop fanatics like us dream of all year.
This year, we harvested and brewed with 8,000 lbs. of fresh hops in a single day's time. It sounds insane because it is. Then we did it again. But when you taste this year's Harvest Ale, we think you'll agree it was well worth it.
Harvest Ale is brewed using only fresh-picked, "wet" hops. Brewing with fresh, undried hops preserves more natural hop resins and aromatic oils, producing layers of hop notes rarely experienced.

Style of the Month
Pilsner
Beyond doubt the world’s most famous beer-style. Originally
developed in Pilsnen, Czech Republic, typically pale golden-colored with a dry
but well-hopped palate. Alcohol content is light, usually around 4 or 5 % abv.
Some German Pilsners, especially those from the North, are even drier than the
original.
